Parent Consultation and Training Services

Parent consultation and training services are provided by compassionate and experienced clinicians who apply evidence-based strategies of applied behavior analysis in making lasting changes in parental care and relationships. The process involves the following steps:

• A comprehensive assessment of physical and social environments to gain an understanding of the variables maintaining behavioral concerns. 
• Goal setting and planing in a mutually supportive and agreeable manner.
• Teaching conceptual understanding of the behavior analytic approach and implementation of its strategies through a step-by-step evidence-based training model. This includes demonstration of implementation, providing repeated opportunities for rehearsals and feedback, as well as quantitative evaluation of the training outcome.
• Ballsbridge clinicians are trained professionals in providing telehealth services as well. Telehealth services have been proven to be effective (Bearss et al., 2018; Tsami et al., 2019), and can be provided either independently or in conjunction with a direct in-person service delivery model. Ballsbridge telehealth services include the application of a teach-to-teach model for parent training and individualized consultation services.
